“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.” - Isaiah 66:23-24
To Know If We Are In The Last Days, Look To God’s People
Many of God’s people are looking for signs that we are in the last days according to Biblical prophecy. They look to the potentiality of World War 3, they look for the mark of the beast, they look for wicked messengers, yet they look not toward the works of their own people. To truly know if we are in the last days, we must look at what the Godly people are doing. The devil will always be the devil, so we cannot expect the devil to not be doing works of iniquity.
It is the case, however, that when we look to what Godly people are doing and how they are behaving with one another we can determine if we are in the last days. The scoffers will indeed come first in the last days (2 Peter 3:3-4) and many will have the appearance of godliness, but this will be but a charade. To truly know if we are in the last days, we must not be lovers of worldliness but seek to understand the works of Godly people and if they are in accordance to God’s laws and commandments.
Why So Many Are Rebelling Against God
It is difficult to navigate the terrain in which you have to operate under the assumption that most people, given human nature, will possibly go against your best interests for the sake of gaining material things, material recognition, status, or clout.
Remember this world belongs to the prince of darkness, to Satan. Satan’s goal is to make sin normalized and godly righteousness seen as a weird phenomenon.
Eternal Life And Faithful Works
The Most High wants you to build your own, especially if you are a man. We as men are not meant to be as comfortable as we are today. We are meant to work and not despise or refrain from the word of God. It is important to remember that any word of God is any written or spoken word that is said in spirit and truth (John 4:24). Wise is he who takes heed to spirit and truth, for he will be blessed with righteousness and delivered from evil.
To have everlasting life, all we have to do is follow God’s laws and commandments while being faithful in our works. Shame will not fall onto he who keeps to the ways of wise counsel and does not trust in riches.
May the Grace of Jesus be with you.
